Three types of off-campus student housing are often available in Singapore:

• Shared Rooms: Two or more individuals sleep in separate beds in a shared room. Different renters from different rooms share the living areas, kitchens, and toilets.
• Private Rooms: These rooms are comparable to shared rooms but feature a private bedroom and, depending on the property, a private bathroom. 
• Entire Place: You won't have to share any living quarters; the whole place is yours. You will have a fully self-contained studio with a separate bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette for cooking.
