About
The University of Derby, established in 1851 and gained university recognition in the year 1992. It is located at Derbyshire in the heart of England with its headquarters at The Kedleston Road site in Allestree. The University has three campuses namely The Derby Campus, Buxton Campus that has specialist courses in Professional Culinary Arts and Management, and Chesterfield, a center for Health and Social Care and nursing courses. Chesterfield has also been ranked 14th in the Guardian University Guide 2020. The University offers courses including foundation, undergraduate degrees, postgraduate degrees, and research study. the University of Derby is the only university in the country to own a professional producing and learning theatre.
