University of Derby

The University of Derby, established in 1851 and gained university recognition in the year 1992. It is located at Derbyshire in the heart of England with its headquarters at The Kedleston Road site in Allestree. The University has three campuses namely The Derby Campus, Buxton Campus that has specialist courses in Professional Culinary Arts and Management, and Chesterfield, a center for Health and Social Care and nursing courses. Chesterfield has also been ranked 14th in the Guardian University Guide 2020. The University offers courses including foundation, undergraduate degrees, postgraduate degrees, and research study. Many financial aid opportunities and scholarships are also provided which helps most international students in the course of their program. The University of Derby has been ranked number one in the UK Modern University for multicultural learning and classed as one of the Top 10 in the world for an international student learning experience. the University of Derby is the only university in the country to own a professional producing and learning theatre. It also has a Digital Design Hub which encourages students to develop creative ideas, skills and knowledge like embroidery, laser cutting and etching, Mimaki fabric printing, sublimation, UV printing, vinyl printing, wide format printing and perfect binding.

The University of Derby offers many options of accommodation that are of high quality. Sports clubs include archery, boxing, swimming, trampolining, weightlifting, football, rugby, cricket, netball, table tennis, American football and dodge ball.
