In the mid-twentieth century and until 2007 University College Birmingham, located in central Birmingham, was initially a technical college. It was in 2007 that University College Birmingham was allowed full degree-granting powers. Library:

The University libraries are based at The Link and Richmond House. The library facilities include quiet study spaces, Wi-Fi and computer access. Their library collection includes books, newspapers, e-books, electronic journals, multimedia and many e-resources. Moreover, they also have expert staff helping students with advice and support in researching assignments.

Accommodation:

The University accommodates more than 800 students in their halls of residence. The accommodations have a city-centre location and are located close to the campus. A safe and secured environment ensures the safety of the students. For the convenience of students supermarkets, banks, cafés, student budget restaurants, and railway and coach stations surround the campus. 

Sports facilities:
