Teesside Institution (previously known as the Constantine Technical University) was founded in 1930, is an open technical university affiliated with the University Alliance. It was accorded university status in 1992 and the degree programs offered by the University are recognised by the University of London. The University's prime fields of study take account of Engineering, Metallurgy, and Chemistry.
