Royal Agricultural University

The Royal Agricultural University, which is formerly known as Royal Agricultural College,  is a prestigious University situated in Cirencester, Gloucestershire, England. The University was founded in the year 1845 and was the first agriculture college in the UK and among English-speaking nations. The Royal Agricultural University offers over thirty by the School of Business and Entrepreneurship, School of Equine, School of Land Management and Real Estate, and School of Agriculture.

An interesting fact about this University is that, since 1845, when it was awarded the Royal Charter by then queen, Queen Victoria, it has had the patronage of the monarchy and has been visited by a royal once every year. The college obtained the University position in the year 2013 and as a result altered its name to Royal Agricultural University. In addition to this, the Royal Agricultural operates three farms that are located near the campus at different locations. These are Coates farm, Harnhill farm, and Fosse hill farm.
