Newton College of Business and Technology was set up in the year 1995. The college is an NZQA accredited Provider, based in Auckland. New Zealand.

Student Services

NCBT provides its students with the best facilities to help them execute their courses with success. This includes proper and equipped classrooms, access to exclusive workshops by prominent personalities, conventions, computer labs, and classroom aids.

The college also recognises the fact that students are bound to face a lot of mental stress and are in need of someone to talk to. Students of diverse backgrounds and family situations are bound to face challenges along the way. For this reason, pastoral care services are one of the pivotal services provided by the college. Their Pastoral Support Team helps the students deal with any issues, personal or professional, that may affect their academic performance. The team regularly helps students through health and welfare issues and does refer them to external support agencies should they require it.

The college has appointed an accommodations officer for the sole purpose of helping the students find proper and safe lodging accommodations. Some of the housing options include homestay, where students are matched with families who house them during their course of study. Besides the homestay option, student sharing accommodation facilities are also available for home-sharing among students, all of which are located minutes away from the various campuses and are within a reasonable budget. Hostels around the campuses equipped with all the basic amenities are also available.

Medical Services

NCBT does not have a formal medical service wing within their campuses but a student welfare manager helps the students and guides them with various medical-related issues and support. NCBT is located in a centric area in the heart of Auckland city which is close to good medical health centers which makes it all the more accessible for students to go in for their regular check-ups or any other medical-related emergency.

Sports Facilities

The students of NCBT enjoy a wide range of sports facilities within the campus itself. The students are encouraged to engage in physical exercise as a way to keep their minds and bodies balanced. Many sports activities and tournaments are regularly conducted and the campus has spaces for activities like frisbee throwing, football, and volleyball.

NCBC has a large and furnished library on their campus, the library is equipped with all the latest information, computer facilities, projectors, Wi-Fi, and a wide-ranging collection of books from various genres as well as a desirable collection of hard to come by books related to Business and Technology.
