Students studying in Italy can receive scholarships upon admission to their desired course; different scholarships are available for different degrees. The scholarships include:

• Italian Government Scholarships for Foreign Students: These are for resident and international students undertaking Masters Degrees, Courses of Higher Education in Arts, Music, and Dance (AFAM), PhD and Research Programs, and Italian Language and Culture Courses.
• The EDISU Piemonte Scholarships: This is for Non-EU students undertaking full-time study, a Bachelors, Masters degree, Single Cycle Master's degree, or PhD courses at one of the Universities of Piedmont.
• Bologna University Study Grants for International Students: This is awarded to international students who choose to enrol in First Cycle (Bachelor), Second Cycle (Master), or Single Cycle Degree Programmes at the University of Bologna.
• The University of Pavia International Scholarships for Developing Country Students: For deserving students from developing countries to undertake a Masters degree in English at the University with an aim to promote internationalism.
• Bocconi Merit and International Awards: For outstanding students admitted into appropriate degree programs at Bocconi.
• Politecnico di Torino International Scholarships: For international students attending programs such as Engineering and Architecture.
• Università Cattolica International Scholarships: For international students with a 30% discount on tuition fees for admissions to degree programs. 
• University of Padova Scholarships for All Degree Courses: This is granted to underprivileged students showing satisfactory academic attainment and studying at the University. Other scholarships are offered to exceptional students seeking admission into first-cycle or second-cycle degrees taught in English at Padova.
• Scuola Normale Superiore Ph.D. Scholarships: This is for Italian students from within and outside the country enrolled in a PhD program.
• Luiss University: This scholarship is based on the final evaluation of applications and is awarded to graduate and post-graduate students.
• UNIVPM Master International Scholarship in Biomedical Engineering, Italy: All professional students are qualified to apply for this scholarship.
