Liverpool Hope University

Liverpool Hope University was founded in 1884 and is one of the prominent public research universities based in Liverpool, England. The university is widely recognised for its teaching. There are two primary teaching campuses at Liverpool Hope University including Hope Park and Creative campus. Hope Park is a kind of mini educational village whereas the creative campus is the main hub for the art subjects. The institute has been one of the earliest educational institutions in England to accept female students and learners of multiple faiths.

The Liverpool Hope University has been ranked as the top 2nd university in the North West and on the 20th position in the United Kingdom for their teaching quality by the Sunday Times Good University Guide, 2021. The Student Support and Well-Being team at the campus support students financially as well as offers advice on careers and mental well-being. The learning support team provides advice and support to students from varied communities, including disabled students. Along with academic and mental support, the university offers professional counseling services to the students to discuss their issues confidentially.

Library

The Sheppard Worlock library is one of the main libraries of the university situated on the Hope Park campus. The university offers numerous resources in printed as well as digital form. The students can access the study spaces in the library. Along with the other services, the library at the university offers interlibrary and postal loans.

Accommodation

The University offers accommodation through halls of residence across their main campuses including Hope park, Creative Campus, and Aigburth Park. For the first-year undergraduate students, 10 halls of residence are available at the Hope Park accommodation. Gerard Manley Hopkins Hall is the residence available at the Creative Campus for the first year and returning undergraduates. Other than the above-mentioned undergraduates, the other students can enroll themselves in the Josephine Butler and St. Julie’s Hall accommodation facilities in Aigburth Park.

Sports facilities and clubs

The university offers different sports facilities for the students including a fitness suite, indoor as well as outdoor halls, squash courts, dance studio, badminton and basketball courts, and many other leisure activities. The university also provides fitness classes to willing students for their physical and mental well-being.

Food courts and cafes

The University provides students to hang out and socialise over the food places and cafes inside the campus. Some of the most famous food courts of the campus include Fresh Hope food court, Fresh Hope Starbucks, Fresh Hope Shop, Chapters cCafé, and EDEN Café.

The medical and well-being services are available within the campus. The students need to register with the practitioner to avail themselves of National Health Service benefits.
